We had a fantastic stay at Kirk Cottage! The double room with private bathroom was not only clean but also had a cozy vibe. The garden view from our room was delightful. The continental breakfast is a highlight, featuring smoked salmon, cold meats, and an array of fresh fruits and pastries, making mornings a treat!
The hill to the main street is quite steep.

The steep walk from the bus station could deter some travelers!!! A slightly cramped dining area made maneuvering during breakfast a bit awkward!!! The sloped ceiling over the bed is a questionable design choice!!!

The Double Room with Private Bathroom was super comfy and spotless. I loved the thoughtful extras like the whiskey decanter and fancy toiletries in the bathroom. Plus, waking up to a delightful breakfast spread was a real treat. While the room had a cozy vibe, the sloped ceiling above the bed was a bit of a concern. Still, it didn't ruin the cozy atmosphere.

The location is perfect, just a short walk to the harbor with stunning views. The rooms are cozy and well-maintained, making our stay very comfortable. Breakfast was delightful, offering a great selection with local flavors.
Wi-Fi connection was a bit unreliable at times, which was frustrating for planning our outings.

The rooms are cozy and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the lovely garden view that added a nice touch to the whole experience.
The ceiling in the bedroom slopes dangerously low above the bedhead, making it impossible to sit up without risking a concussion. The shower cubicle was cramped without a soap holder, leading to some awkward moments fumbling for soap on the bathroom floor. The host also has a strict no eating outside the dining room policy, which can be a hassle if you find yourself under the weather. All these quirks detracted from an otherwise nice vibe.
